The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications at the moment are open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a home with a combined gross family earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined family money won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not submit any proof of income.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is my nsfas open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
